The Mortgage Society of Finland (“Hypo”) has, based on publicly available information, become aware that the ownership arrangement of its current IT service provider Oy Samlink Ab (“Samlink”) announced in 2019, as well as the delivery project of Samlink’s new core banking IT platform by Cognizant Group (“Cognizant”) announced at the same time, are possibly subject to cancellation. Neither Samlink nor Cognizant has confirmed this information.
Samlink and Cognizant have confirmed that the provision of Samlink’s current IT services to Hypo continues as normal. Hypo has not been an owner in Samlink, and Hypo is not a customer in Samlink’s new core banking IT platform delivery project.
Hypo continues the delivery project of its new core banking solution with Tieto Finland Oy, member of TietoEVRY Group. Samlink’s current IT services to Hypo include also support services to Hypo’s delivery project.
