Hanken School of Economics No. 46 in the world
Hanken School of Economics' master's programme is ranked 46th in this year's edition of the Financial Times Masters in Management ranking. This is Hanken's best result in the ranking ever. The Financial Times annually ranks the best master’s programmes world-wide.
"We are very proud and happy that our position on the ranking list rose by so many points since last year, when we were ranked 62nd. This is proof that we are on the right track and that Hanken's master's programme is of a high standard, even in international comparison," says Rector Ingmar Björkman.
There are about 14 000 business schools in the world. Of these, only 100 qualify for the Financial Times ranking. The list includes six Nordic business schools. The list is topped by HEC Paris, the Swiss University of St. Gallen, and London Business School.
Variables that affect the ranking include the alumni career development and their satisfaction with the education. The results in the ranking are mainly based on a survey sent to alumni who graduated with a master’s degree from the university three years previously, and partly on data handed in by the universities themselves.
