Kempower, a leading global manufacturer of DC fast-charging solutions, has been awarded multiple new sites through its partnership with PowerUp America, further accelerating the company’s growth in North America. The new public EV charging site installations, located across the Southeast, underscore Kempower’s continued leadership in supporting America’s transition to clean transportation under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program and other programs.
Kempower received the new PowerUp orders in the third quarter, which are reflected in the company’s order intake detailed in its Q3 2025 Interim Report published today.
“These wins mark another major step in Kempower’s U.S. growth story,” said Monil Malhotra, President of Kempower North America. “The Southeast is one of the most dynamic EV charging markets in the country, and through our collaboration with PowerUp, we’re helping to deliver reliable, American-made fast-charging infrastructure to power North America’s electrification journey forward.”
As part of NEVI, the awarded sites – five in Tennessee, two in Virginia, and one under development in Kentucky – require compliance with Build America, Buy America (BABA) provisions.
Kempower’s investment in U.S. operations was driven in part by its commitment to these standards, ensuring that its products and processes directly contribute to domestic job creation and local economic growth.
PowerUp America has quickly established itself as a leading force in the Southeast’s EV infrastructure growth, combining reliable, safe, and uniquely designed charging solutions with a deep commitment to community engagement. The company’s strategic investments across the region, including the awarded NEVI sites, reflect PowerUp’s long-term vision to build resilient, accessible, and future-ready charging infrastructure. With Kempower’s U.S. headquarters located in North Carolina, this partnership reinforces both companies’ shared dedication to supporting local jobs, advancing domestic manufacturing, and driving sustainable economic impact throughout the Southeast.
“Working with Kempower ensures our sites deliver the performance, reliability, and state-of-the-art quality drivers deserve as the EV landscape continues to evolve,” said Josh Turner, CEO at PowerUp.
Kempower’s partnership with PowerUp represents one of its most significant North American undertakings to date, advancing access to high-power charging infrastructure across a critical region for EV adoption.
