Changes in Kela’s services in Vantaa

Kela’s service point in Myyrmäki will be closed permanently on 1 June 2026. After the closure, you can access Kela’s services via the OmaKela e-service or by calling our customer service. You can also visit other Kela service points in or near Vantaa or go to a joint service point operated by the City of Vantaa.
Kela has decided to consolidate its customer services in Vantaa to Tikkurila. As a result, the Kela service point located at Vaskivuorentie in Myyrmäki will be closed permanently at the beginning of June. The majority of Kela’s customers access our services online. Personal service will still be available by phone, at service points in or near Vantaa and at joint service points operated by the City of Vantaa.

You can go to the Kela service point in Tikkurila or any joint service point operated by the City of Vantaa to access Kela’s services.

You can get general advice on Kela-related matters and help with accessing the right services for you at joint service points operated by the City of Vantaa. Joint service points also have Kela application forms, brochures and benefit guides available, and you can use the public computers there to access Kela’s services.

You can also use our e-service or call our customer service
You can use the OmaKela e-service or call our customer service to manage almost all of your Kela-related matters. In OmaKela, you can apply for benefits, submit supporting documents, report changes and check the status of your application and benefit payment dates. You need online banking credentials or a Mobile Certificate to log in to OmaKela.
Kela’s phone service provides personal assistance in Finnish, Swedish and English. Our phone service is open from 9.00 to 16.00 on weekdays (Monday to Friday). You can submit an application verbally by phone if you cannot use any other customer service channels.
We recommend confirming your identity in OmaKela before you call our customer service. You can call us without completing this step, but confirming your identity in advance ensures faster and more secure service. You can also submit a call request in OmaKela for the same day, if it is a weekday, or for the next weekday.

In 2025, pharmaceuticals sales in Finland totalled EUR 4.2 billion in value, which is EUR 165 million, or 4 per cent, more than in the previous year. This growth was mainly due to the introduction of new, more expensive medicines and the expansion of the use of some medicines. This information came to light with the recent publication of the Finnish Statistics on Medicines.

FPA betalar partiell vårdpenning till en förälder som har ett barn i årskurs 1 eller 2 och som har avtalat med sin arbetsgivare om förkortad arbetstid på grund av vården av barnet. I vissa fall kan partiell vårdpenning beviljas också när barnet deltar i förskoleundervisning eller går i årskurs 3.
