Brightfin, the leading platform for total spend intelligence in enterprise IT, today announced that Dan McNamara has joined the company as Chief Customer Officer (CCO). The appointment comes as Brightfin extends its platform into a broader vision of financial truth and operational clarity across the entire enterprise technology stack, and as more IT and finance leaders turn to Brightfin to make sense of fast-growing, fragmented spend across cloud, mobile, and emerging AI tooling.

Dan McNamara, CCO of Brightfin

McNamara has built his career on meeting increasingly complex customer expectations. Twice, he has joined a customer organization in the middle of rapid growth and left it with a stronger customer base. As Chief Customer Officer at Apryse, he helped grow annual recurring revenue from $40 million to $250 million while the company completed more than 15 acquisitions. He expanded his team through that period without losing the customer trust that growth at that pace can easily erode. Before Apryse, he served as Vice President of Customer Success at Catalant Technologies, where he doubled revenue. He began his career in customer success and account management roles at Quickbase, athenahealth, and Zaius. Most recently, he has been an Operating Advisor at M33 Growth and Founder and Principal of Weldon Farm Advisors.

At Brightfin, McNamara will lead the global customer success, support, and services organizations, ensuring the platform's expanding capabilities translate into real, measurable value for customers. As the company's product surface grows, McNamara's will ensure the relationship between Brightfin and its customers is as tight as it was on day one.

Why Brightfin

"Dan has done this before. He's joined companies in the middle of rapid growth and made the customer experience stronger along the way," said Joel Martins, CEO of Brightfin. "We're at a similar point now as we expand what our platform does for enterprise IT and finance teams. Dan knows how to turn that kind of growth into deeper customer partnerships instead of growing pains."

“I've built my career on authenticity and building practices that drive value for customers - and along the way helping teams flourish through rapid periods of growth,” said McNamara. “Brightfin is entering exactly that kind of growth phase, expanding what it can offer customers at a moment when enterprises need more clarity into their technology spend than ever. I'm looking forward to making sure every customer feels that momentum as a benefit, not a disruption.”

McNamara's arrival underscores Brightfin's commitment to pairing platform expansion with an equally ambitious customer experience, as the company works to stay ahead of enterprise demand for spend intelligence across an increasingly complex technology landscape.

European Firms Struggle to Keep Pace with Growing DSAR Demands, New Reveal Study Finds6.10.2026 16:00:00 EEST | Press release

New research published today byReveal, the provider of integrated AI-native platforms spanning the dispute resolution lifecycle, found that large European organisations complete fewer than half of data subject access requests (DSARs) within the one-month deadline required under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a shortfall the study ties directly to a near-universal absence of purpose-built technology. Nearly nine in 10 organisations still run DSARs on manual or general-purpose workflows, with no dedicated tooling in place. The report, based on a survey of 213 legal and privacy professionals at large European enterprises, is the first of its kind to benchmark how organisations across the region are managing DSAR compliance at scale. The findings expose structural inconsistencies between how organisations perceive their DSAR processes and how those processes perform. Ninety percent of respondents said they are confident their process would withstand scrutiny from an Informa

Xsolla, a global commerce company, today announced it will be at Brand Licensing Europe 2026 at ExCeL London, October 6 to 8, to show brand owners how to engage with video game players by creating quest-based programs and value new users actually value. This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261006443167/en/ Graphic: Xsolla Video games are one of the largest categories of entertainment spending in the world, yet most brands still treat the category as an experiment: a one-off promotional stunt or a single media buy, not a lasting engagement program. The traditional formats brands default to were never built for players. Interstitial pop-ups disrupt gameplay, banner ads go unnoticed, and in-game activations remain cumbersome and expensive to execute. The idea is already proven in games, where players have purchased, collected, and valued digital items for years. The relationship between players and games is built on t
