Atte Jääskeläinen appointed Senior Advisor at Fourkind

Jääskeläinen will act as an advisor in customer projects with an emphasis on emergent technologies, and will be responsible for developing research and training practices in these areas for businesses and other organisations. He’ll work part-time beside his new role as Professor of Practice in Lappeenranta University of Technology.

Fourkind is a consulting agency mixing strategic management consulting and the implementation capabilities of creative technology companies. The company has grown profitably to the size of 20+ consultants in eight months. Fourkind currently has offices in Helsinki and Shanghai.

Jääskeläinen is a former Editor-in-Chief and Director of News and Current Affairs of the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle and CEO of the Finnish News Agency STT. He’s been responsible for major change processes that have gained international reputation as visionary and boldly led.

He is currently a visiting fellow at the Reuters Institute of the University of Oxford and at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Jääskeläinen is now a co-director of an international research project studying sustainable future business models for national news agencies in Europe. He has extensive connections to European media.
