Jarmo Parkkonen appointed S-Bank’s Business Risk Officer and member of the Group Management Team

Jarmo Parkkonen (LLM, MSc., Econ.) has been appointed S-Bank’s Business Risk Officer and a member of the Group Management Team as of 2 April 2024.
 
Business Risk Officer (BRO) is a new role, and its purpose is to strengthen the bank's risk management practices.

Parkkonen joins S-Bank from Nordea, where he was responsible for various compliance and risk management duties. Prior to that, Parkkonen worked as Head of Department, Supervision of Markets and Conduct of Business, at the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.
