The financial contributions for the unemployment funds for 2021 have been confirmed

The Employment Fund and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health have made decisions on the financing of unemployment funds for 2021.

On 27 August 2020, the Employment Fund published its budget for 2021, which included a total of EUR 2,438 million in funding for unemployment funds. According to the decisions taken by the Employment Fund and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health in November and December 2020, the total amount of this financing is EUR 2,431 million.

The amount of the decided contributions differs from the initial budget allocation by about EUR 7 million, which equals to 0.3% of the total funding.

The total contributions for the unemployment funds correspond to about 65 per cent of the Employment Fund's expenditure.
