Amino Technologies has acquired the entire share capital of Booxmedia – DNA and Booxmedia continue to work in close partnership

Booxmedia will continue operating as an independent company, and DNA will continue as its customer. Amino is a world leading IPTV and hybrid-TV provider with customers in 85 countries. The buyer intends to expand Booxmedia’s R&D activities in Finland.

Booxmedia has grown to be a leading cloud-TV technology provider in the Nordics and Central Europe. Amino's deep experience in delivering digital television and entertainment solutions guarantees Booxmedia the best support for R&D and opening the global market.

DNA became a shareholder of Booxmedia in 2012 and launched within a year the DNA Welho MatkaTV cloud-TV service. This April, MatkaTV was renewed and renamed DNA TV. The DNA TV service is an easy and flexible way of viewing free- and pay TV programmes on tablets, smart phones and TV screens on 4G, cable and DTT connections.

DNA has currently nearly one million TV customers, when the company's cable, terrestrial and mobile TV customers are put together.
