ACTING MANAGEMENT TO ACQUIRE TEST WORLD OY

Test World will be acquired by Harri Eskelinen, who has acted as the company's Managing Director since 2007, and Turo Tiililä, who has been responsible for testing operations at A-Katsastus. Eskelinen will continue as the company's Managing Director, focusing on the development of winter testing in Ivalo. Tiililä will act as Chairman of the Board of Directors, being responsible for the company's type approval and certification operations.

The new entrepreneurs welcome the challenge. "When the opportunity to start running the business was presented to us, the decision was easy. In recent years, we have developed diverse functions and this work will continue. Being an entrepreneur involves challenges and some risk-taking, but the acquisition of a familiar business provides us with the best possibilities. We have a positive trend in Ivalo with a number of development projects in progress, which we will revert shortly to," Harri Eskelinen promises.

"I have been close to Test World ever since its establishment in 1991. After selling my company Test Center Tiililä Oy to A-Katsastus in 2006, I have been involved in developing the Group's testing operations. The business acquisition gives us a brilliant possibility to further strengthen the position of the Finnish vehicle testing in the international markets," Turo Tiililä says.
