Ascend to Exhibit Vydyne® PA66 Automotive Applications at Chinaplas 2017

Ascend Performance Materials, the largest fully integrated producer of PA66 resin, will exhibit a full range of automotive applications at Chinaplas 2017.

On display at booth 11.2B41 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China will be PA66 automotive parts for cooling systems, oil management, powertrain, tire cord and electrical components.

The Vydyne ^® H series features glass-filled, heat-stabilized grades that are resistant to under-the-hood thermal and chemical exposure, making them ideal for a number of automotive applications, including oil management, canisters, air intake manifolds and cylinder head covers. This year, Ascend will be showcasing PA66 innovations for automotive, including:

• Vydyne HR series delivers best-in-class thermal and hydro-aging performance for demanding automotive cooling system applications.
• For fuel-efficient turbocharged engines, Ascend’s Vydyne HT series provides high levels of resistance to property degradation after long-term heat exposure.

The company’s Vydyne J series features glass-filled, electrically neutral grades that are halogen-free and heat-stabilized to withstand continuous-use temperatures in excess of 155 C. The J Series grades of Vydyne feature improved dielectric resistance ideal for hybrid and electric vehicle use. This year, Ascend will profile the following materials from its J Series:

• Vydyne grades R515J, R530J and R535J are a selection of electrically neutral, heat-stabilized and glass-filled grades that offer enhanced flow for the molding of thin wall parts and improved productivity.

• Chinese: Tuesday, May 16, at 14:00 and Thursday, May 18, at 10:00
• English: Thursday, May 18, at 11:00.
