Launched in early 2017, the Brightline™ Initiative is a coalition, led by the Project Management Institute together with leading global organizations, dedicated to helping executives bridge the expensive and unproductive gap between strategy design and delivery. Brightline focuses its work on three key areas: Thought and Practice Leadership, Networking and Capability Building.
NetEase Hangzhou Research Institute Chief Executive Chen Gang said, “Historically NetEase has been paying close attention on strategy design and constantly request senior management to minimize the gap between strategy design and its delivery. The Brightline Initiative, with extensive knowledge and practice, is a world famous organization in this domain. We look forward to leverage this collaboration opportunity, to practice on large complicated projects for advanced industries, such as Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality, and together with Brightline Initiative to explore the best practice to connect strategy design and delivery.”
Strategy is a living thing that adapts. In a world with constant disruptions, an organization needs to engage with its ecosystem in designing and implementing its strategy. Collaboration, communication, knowledge, and capabilities form the cornerstones of successful strategy implementation.
Brightline Executive Director Ricardo Vargas highlighted, “The partnership with NetEase further strengthens the Brightline coalition and our mission in bridging the gap between strategy design and delivery. NetEase brings its vigorous innovative practices in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality and Blockchain and unique perspective of the Asian region. NetEase’s fresh thinking on adapting and implementing dynamic strategic initiatives in the age of disruptive technologies will add enormous value in our collective quest on how to succeed in strategy initiative management in this volatile world.”
