Opening hours of the Espoonlahti Service Point will change

The opening hours of the Espoonlahti Service Point as of 11 January 2021 (the Service Point will be closed until 10 January 2021 due to the coronavirus situation and staff holidays):

• Mon–Tue 10:00−12:00, 12:45−17:00
• Wed 12:45−18:00
• Thu 10:00−12:00, 12:45−17:00
• Fri 10:00−12:00, 12:45−16:00

The change in the opening hours is based on the City of Espoo’s economic situation.

“This is how we can contribute to the city’s savings. Even though the change is not very radical in terms of hours, we will achieve savings worth one man-year as we will be able to keep the Service Point open with two employees instead of three. The fact that the Service Point will be closed during lunchtime may be inconvenient, especially for those who go to work. However, we hope that the extended hours on Wednesdays, the closeness of the Matinkylä Service Point and our online services make the situation easier,” says Customer Service Manager Anna-Maija Aalto.

Many of the services provided by Espoo’s Service Points are now available remotely – by phone and via email, chat and video chat. The online services are available from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 16:00. You can find all contact information at www.espoo.fi/customerservice.
