Kempower organizes a share issue for all employees

Kempower, a leading rapid charging technology provider, organizes a share issue for all employees. This is the first employee share issue organized by Kempower. By organizing the share issue, Kempower aims to foster employee commitment. Moreover, Kempower, owned by the Kemppi Group Oy, gives the opportunity to its personnel to benefit from the potential increase in company’s value.

The share issue that was launched on 1st of October 2021 is targeted for Kempower’s employees working in Finland. Kempower will launch a separate plan for Kempower employees working outside Finland by the end of October 2021.

With headquarters and production facilities in the Finnish city of Lahti, Kempower develops rapid EV charging technology for electric cars, buses, off-highway vehicles, and marine vessels. The company’s product development and production are rooted in Finland.

Kempower is continuing to scale up its production capabilities to meet the strong growth of the e-mobility market. In July 2021, the company announced plans to open a new factory in Lahti, enabling it to scale up production by approximately 500% compared to its current capacity.
