Insure your phone against theft and loss at home and abroad with DNA’s SquareTrade comprehensive coverage
9.3.2022 12:30:00 EET | DNA Oyj | Press release

DNA’s SquareTrade device insurance protects mobile devices from everyday damage and mechanical and electrical failures caused by normal use after the manufacturer’s warranty period expires. The SquareTrade comprehensive coverage extends the insurance coverage of new mobile devices even further, as it covers not only damage, but also loss or theft. The SquareTrade-täysturva made its debut at DNA on March 8. It is also valid abroad. A broken mobile device can be repaired in Finland, while a new device can be delivered anywhere in the EU.
“A phone is a very important device in many everyday situations, and it’s hard to get by without it. We recommend securing your phones and tablets against everyday accidents and unpleasant surprises, such as loss. As the world gradually opens up and people are eager to get back to travelling, it’s a good idea to choose an insurance that’s also valid when you travel,” says CEO Sami Aavikko, DNA Store.
DNA’s SquareTrade comprehensive coverage will initially only be available in DNA Stores as well as when buying a new mobile device through DNA’s customer service. In turn, device insurance can be obtained with the purchase of a new phone or tablet from DNA’s online shop, a DNA Store or DNA’s customer service. Neither insurance can be obtained after the purchase of the device.
The most affordable SquareTrade device insurance costs €6.90 per month. For €2 more, you get SquareTrade’s comprehensive coverage, which also covers loss and theft. Read more about SquareTrade’s insurance policy (in Finnish) here.
In addition to insurance services, DNA also provides its customers with data security services to protect devices from viruses and to secure customers’ privacy and keep their personal data and passwords safe.
