Exceptions to opening hours in June
The reform of customer service facilities causes exceptions to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s opening hours in Lahti between 5 and 9 June 2023.
Most matters do not require a visit to a Digital and Population Data Services Agency service location and can be handled through electronic service channels or the telephone service instead. These channels are available as usual, and the change in customer service facilities will not affect their service hours.
If your matter requires a visit to our service location,
- we will serve you in Lahti (new address: Kirkkokatu 12, main entrance) as follows:
- The last day we serve before the reform of the customer service facilities is Friday, 2 June from 9:00 to 12:00.
- Customer service facilities are closed 5.–9.6.2023
- Customer service will serve again on Wednesday, 14 June 2023 (with an appointment already on Tuesday, 13 June 2023) on the 1st floor of the new facilities.
- We serve in Lappeenranta (new address: Villimiehenkatu 2 B) as follows:
- The last day we serve before the reform of the customer service facilities is Friday, 9 June from 9:00 to 12:00.
- Customer service will serve on the 1st floor of the new facilities from Tuesday, 13 June 2023 onwards.
We recommend that you book an appointment for matters that require a visit to avoid queues.

The Lahti and Lappeenranta office buildings’ renovation and joint service points are part of the renewal of the central government service and premises network. The aim of the project is to centralise central government in-person services to joint service points during the 2020s. At the same time, the central government’s use of premises will be made more efficient as agencies move to shared office spaces.
