New planning reservation for the GigaVaasa area – Chinese Shanshan to build 1,3 billion battery-materials factory in Korsholm, Finland
Shanghai Shanshan Lithium Battery Materials Technology Co (later Shanshan) has made a planning reservation for a plot in the GigaVaasa area for the construction of an anode material factory. Shanshan is planning a production facility for anode materials on the site No. 3019 located in the municipality of Korsholm.
Shansan is the world's largest player in its field and overall number one in anode material production.
