Kempower collaborates with Worldline to enhance EV charging experience in Europe

• Kempower collaborates with Worldline, a global leader in payment services, to include Worldline’s highly sought-after payment terminals and services into the Kempower Satellite charging system offering.  

• Retailers, Travel and Hospitality actors or Energy providers can now use their existing payment solution to offer electric vehicle charging services using Kempower solutions. 

• The collaboration aims to enhance EV charging in Europe, ensuring compliance with European alternative fuels regulations (AFIR) and providing a user-friendly charging experience. 

EUROPE – DC fast-charging solutions provider Kempower collaborates with Worldline, a global leader in payment services. The collaboration strengthens Kempower’s product and service offering, as it integrates Worldline’s payment terminals and services with the Kempower Satellite charging system. Worldline’s Valina terminal is available for Kempower’s customers in Europe. 

The collaboration will enable retailers, Travel and Hospitality actors, Parking operators or Energy providers to offer EV charging services to their customers while leveraging their existing payment processing contracts and solutions. Kempower's customers will benefit from a reliable payment solution that complies with the European alternative fuels regulation (AFIR), which requires charging operators to offer card-based payments for EV charging.   

The collaboration aims to offer an enhanced EV charging experience for EV drivers across Europe through Kempower’s user-friendly and reliable charging solutions and Worldline’s expertise in payment processing. The Worldline Valina payment terminal allows for any method of electronic payment – contactless cards, mobile phones and wearable devices, chip cards and magstripe cards.
