First public charging systems with Kempower DC fast-charging technology installed in Germany

Kempower, one of the leading providers of fast charging technology for electric vehicles, has delivered its first public charging systems in Kleve, Germany. The charging hub is operated by Kuster Energy.

Kempower, one of the leading providers of fast charging technology for electric vehicles, has delivered its first public charging systems in Kleve, Germany. The charging hub is operated by Kuster Energy.

Kempower has been active in Germany for several years and has supported the electrification of bus depots and truck infrastructure in the country. The company has also delivered DC charging solutions for electric machines, e.g. for Berlin’s electric cleaning vehicle fleet. After the successful qualification of Eichrecht certification in late summer 2023, Kempower is now also able to provide charging technology for public charging stations.

The location in Kleve is operated by Kuster Energy. With a total capacity of up to 400 kW and four Kempower Satellites with a single connection cable, EV drivers can charge their cars quickly and continue their journey.

Kempower toimittaa DC-pikalatausratkaisuja EV Realtyn uudelle, 76-paikkaiselle sähkökuorma-autojen latauskekukselle Kalifornian San Bernardinoon Yhdysvalloissa. Latausaseman rakentaminen aloitettiin aiemmin syyskuussa. Asema on suunniteltu lataamaan yli 200 sähkökuorma-autoa päivittäin ja on merkittävä virstanpylväs nopeuttamaan kaupallisen kuorma-autokaluston sähköistymistä Yhdysvalloissa. Myöhemmin tänä vuonna valmistuva keskus on tällä hetkellä Yhdysvaltojen suurin verkkoon kytketty latausasema.
