Kempower, a leading provider of DC fast charging solutions for electric vehicles, will be opening new facilities for the DACH region. The Finnish company already has sales and services, as well as marketing activities in Germany, and the plan is to build on and expand the activities already established in the country. The new facilities will be located in EUREF-Campus in Düsseldorf.

With the expansion, Kempower marks its position as a pioneer in the charging infrastructure market, while expanding its local presence to better support regional business activities.

In the future, Kempower will be part of the EUREF campus in Düsseldorf and thus part of a lively ecosystem around the topics of energy, sustainability, and mobility. The announcement of the expansion follows important milestones for the company, such as Eichrecht certification (calibration law).

Düsseldorf is an excellent location for setting up of our first office in Germany, a knowledge hub with our experts in sales, services, and marketing to support the strategically important DACH market,” says Tomi Ristimäki, CEO of Kempower.

“With a central hub and an increased physical presence, we want to serve even better our customers and partners in the DACH market. The EUREF campus’ focus on energy and mobility transition, and sustainability, fit well with our vision to make this planet a cleaner and quieter place for all of us.”

The official opening of the location is planned for the beginning of 2025 at the latest. The EUREF campus is located at the airport train station in Düsseldorf. A service center is also planned near the office, to carry out training and repairs.

Philipp Oppolzer, Regional Business Development Director, Central Europe, adds:

“In Düsseldorf, we will be part of an established ecosystem that consists of important companies in the energy and mobility transition. We look forward to driving this transformation forward and further accelerating it together.”
