Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s service location in Espoo is moving – exceptions to opening hours in August
1.8.2024 11:23:11 EEST | Digi- ja väestötietovirasto | Press release
The Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s service location in Espoo is moving in August 2024. As from 20 August, the notary services will be available in Leppävaara, Espoo, at Leppävaarankatu 9. As from 15 August, the other customer services will be available at the premises of the Helsinki service location at Lintulahdenkuja 2.
Exceptions to opening hours
The last day of service at the current service location in Espoo will be Thursday, 15 August. On Friday 16 August, customer service at the service location will be closed because of the move.
However, most matters do not require a visit to a Digital and Population Data Services Agency service location and can be handled through electronic service channels or the telephone service instead. These channels are available as usual, and the change in customer service facilities will not affect their service hours. In matters requiring a visit to a service location, we recommend that you book an appointment. This way you can avoid queuing.
When the customer service facilities are closed, documents submitted to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency should be left in the letter box at the Helsinki service location. The letter box is located outside the door of the customer service facilities at Lintulahdenkuja 2.
Services requiring a visit relocate to central government’s joint service locations
After the move, the other authorities serving customers at the joint service location of Leppävaara in addition to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency will be the City of Espoo, Kela, West Uusimaa wellbeing services county and Helsinki Region Transport HSL (for HSL cards). At International House Helsinki in Lintulahdenkuja, the other authorities offering services in addition to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency will be the cities of Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, Tax Administration, Kela, Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) and Uusimaa Employment and Economic Development Office (TE Office).
