President Tarja Halonen will attend the state funeral of late President of the Republic of Estonia Arnold Rüütel on Saturday 11 January 2025 in Tallinn.
President Halonen will give one of the commemorative speeches at the event.
Arnold Rüütel served as the President of the Republic of Estonia from 2001 to 2006.

Dessutom får han en presentation av multifunktionsfartyget Tursas och en robotbåt i Hamina-klassen. Som avslutning på inspektionsbesöket träffar presidenten personal vid Kustflottan och en representant för beväringarna.

Office of the President of the Republic of Finland Press release 42/2026 23 June 2026 President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will inspect the Coastal Fleet Pansio Base in Turku on Wednesday 24 June 2026. During the inspection visit, President Stubb will receive an up-to-date overview of the Coastal Fleet’s operations in both normal and exceptional conditions. In addition, the President will be introduced to the multipurpose vessel Tursas and a Hamina-class missile craft. At the end of the inspection visit, President Stubb will meet Coastal Fleet personnel and a conscript representative.
