Olli Rehn appointed for second term as Bank of Finland Governor

The President of the Republic of Finland has today appointed to the vacancy for Chair of the Board of the Bank of Finland the present holder of the position, Olli Rehn, DPhil. This will be Rehn’s second term as Governor and takes effect from 12 July 2025.
The term of office for the Chair of the Board is seven years. The Chair serves as Governor of the Bank of Finland.
