Radical Health Festival Helsinki Returns in 2026 with the Theme “Operationalising Precision Health”
Radical Health Festival Helsinki, Europe’s leading health innovation event, will return to the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Messukeskus) from 19 to 21 January 2026. Organised by éditohealth and Messukeskus, in partnership with the City of Helsinki and the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, the festival brings together global changemakers to accelerate the transformation of health systems.

The 2026 theme, “Operationalising Precision Health”, focuses on how to scale and implement personalised, proactive healthcare in practice. Precision health goes beyond precision medicine by incorporating individual biological, lifestyle and environmental data to enable earlier detection, targeted interventions, and continuous monitoring across a person’s life course.
Delivering on this vision requires rethinking how healthcare is financed and incentivised — moving from activity-based reimbursement to value-based care, fostering innovation, and strengthening public–private collaboration. These systemic changes enable health systems to shift their focus from treating illness to predicting and preventing it, improving outcomes and long-term sustainability.
“Health systems around the world are under pressure — facing ageing populations, rising rates of chronic illness, workforce burnout, and the mounting impact of climate change,” says Pascal Lardier, Founding Partner at éditohealth and Content Lead for the Festival. “Radical Health Festival Helsinki is about rallying the changemakers who will lead this profound transformation.”
The event gathers stakeholders from across the health and care ecosystem, including policymakers, healthcare professionals, patients, researchers, businesses, start-ups, and the media — representing both public and private sectors.
Two Successful Editions Behind Us
The inaugural Radical Health Festival in 2023 welcomed over 1,100 international participants and received praise for its forward-thinking agenda and collaborative spirit. The 2024 edition featured more than 140 speakers, interactive sessions, workshops, and a dynamic exhibition of leading companies, start-ups, and country pavilions. The event was widely recognised for its interdisciplinary approach and high-quality networking opportunities.
Previous partners have included the European Society of Cardiology, Nightingale Health, CHIME (the College of Health Information Management Executives), IANPHI, EHTEL, Healthtech Finland, and COCIR, alongside institutional support from the City of Helsinki and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. Media representatives from countries including Germany, France, the UK, the Czech Republic, South Korea, Japan and Finland were in attendance.
