Kempower delivers distributed megawatt charging solution to Norway’s largest grocery retailer ASKO’s depot in Vestby16.10.2025 13:00:40 EEST | Press release

Kempower is supporting ASKO, Norway’s largest grocery retailer and one of the largest Norwegian transport companies, in becoming fossil-free in its own transport. With Kempower’s distributed charging system, ASKO’s trucks can charge at up to 1.2 MW, enabling dynamic charging between two MCS and four CCS2 high-power Kempower Mega Satellites – fast enough to fill the batteries during the drivers' statutory rest period of 45 minutes. The facility is the first of its kind in Norway.

Kempower toimittaa hajautetun megawattilatausjärjestelmän Norjan suurimman päivittäistavaratukkukauppa ASKO:n rekkavarikolle Vestbyssä16.10.2025 13:00:00 EEST | Tiedote

Kempower tukee Norjan suurinta päivittäistavaratukkukauppa ASKO:a tavoitteessa luopua fossiilisista polttoaineista omissa kuljetuksissaan. ASKO on myös yksi Norjan suurimmista kuljetusyrityksistä. Kempowerin hajautetun megawattilatausjärjestelmän avulla ASKO:n rekat voivat ladata jopa 1,2 MW:n teholla. Kempowerin latausjärjestelmä mahdollistaa dynaamisen latauksen kahden MCS- ja neljän CCS2- Kempower Mega Satellite -lataussatelliitin välillä suurteholatauksella, jotta rekkojen akut täyttyvät kuljettajien lakisääteisen 45 minuutin lepoajan aikana. Latausasema on ensimmäinen laatuaan Norjassa.

Kempower jatkaa hajautetun sähköautolataamisen johtajana laajentamalla dynaamisen tehonjaon 12 latauspisteeseen MORE Plugs -ratkaisulla7.10.2025 09:30:00 EEST | Tiedote
