Athos Commerce Updates Platform Rollout to Protect Peak Season and Ensure Smooth 2026 Transition
Athos Commerce today announced an updated rollout schedule for its next-generation platform, built on a modernized tech stack to power search, merchandising, personalization, and feed management. The new timing reflects a clear priority: keep existing customer performance uninterrupted through Q4, while ensuring a seamless, commercially-ready launch in early 2026.
The new rollout milestones are:
Present
Current customers continue with no disruption. Support, maintenance, and feature updates continue as usual. Renewals can proceed confidently, with all existing capabilities—and more—available at transition.
Q4 2025: Early Access Program
A select group of customers will onboard onto the Athos platform ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, giving them exclusive access to new features and the opportunity to help shape the future of the platform through their insights.
Q1 2026: General Availability
Platform available to all customers. Athos Commerce will provide a clear upgrade path for Searchspring customers and a migration path for Klevu customers, with guided documentation and dedicated support.
2027 (Legacy Sunset)
Beginning in 2027, legacy platforms will be gradually retired, with full support to ensure every customer transitions smoothly to the Athos platform. Intelligent Reach customers will not need to transition; the solution will retain its functionality under the Athos Commerce brand.
This schedule adjustment allows customers to stay fully focused on peak-season performance, while the Athos team prepares to deliver its most advanced platform yet. It also ensures that every upgrade and migration is timed to real-world operations.
“Our customers count on us most during peak season. This plan lets them stay focused on results while we deliver the most advanced platform yet, ready to scale from day one,” said Chuck Haling, CEO of Athos Commerce.
What’s coming in the new Athos platform:
- Smarter discovery with improved search relevancy tuned for global languages and intent, plus data enrichment that bridges the gap between catalog language and shopper behavior
- Enhanced merchandising with real-time adaptability and expanded personalization across on-site and off-site channels
- Modernized data structure providing more visibility into variants—across search, filters, badges, and recommendations
- Deeper performance insights powered by new analytics and reporting
General Availability in Q1 2026 will include updated materials, product tours, and support resources for a smooth, strategic transition. Athos Commerce remains focused on helping retailers connect intent to revenue—faster, smarter, and with greater precision than ever before.
