Kempower continues to lead distributed EV charging with MORE Plugs, expanding dynamic power distribution up to 12 charging points
As a pioneer of distributed EV charging technology, Kempower was the first in the market to provide dynamic power distribution through 8 charging points back in 2019. By expanding the amount of charging points up to 12, Kempower once again shows product leadership and commitment to grow in the market with its customers.

Kempower is now delivering its MORE Plugs charging solution that consists of a 600 kW Kempower Power Unit connected to up to 12 charging points, Kempower Satellites or other DC fast-charging dispensers, increasing the flexibility and scalability of power distribution.
MORE Plugs charging solution maximizes the number of charging sessions that can happen simultaneously in a charging system, leading to a higher utilization rate by delivering more energy, and serving more EV's at the same time. This again leads to faster return on investment for charging and fleet operators.
By enabling more vehicles to charge in parallel, the upgraded solution also reduces waiting times, improves customer satisfaction and boosts revenue potential at public charging sites.
“With MORE Plugs we offer charging station operators the key for better profitability through higher utilization rate. The solution is built on the proven reliable technology that our customers have been able to trust for years. This being one step further, we continue developing further, and there is more to come,” says Jussi Vanhanen, Chief Market Officer at Kempower.
Kempower introduced its game-changing MORE Power, MORE Plugs, MORE Data concept in April 2025, presenting updates to its classic dynamic charging solution and taking power to megawatt range. In the first phase, deliveries of the new configuration for MORE Power charging solutions with 2 x 600 kW Kempower Power Unit started in June, making Kempower the first EV charging manufacturer ready to ship 1.2 MW of dynamically distributed charging power. MORE Plugs being the second phase of the roll-out, MORE Data will follow in 2026.
Key features of Kempower’s MORE Plugs solution with up to 12 charging points:
-
MORE Plugs for a higher utilisation rate by charging more simultaneous EV's
-
MORE Plugs to reduce queues and waiting times
-
MORE Plugs for a better return on investment.
