Governor of the Bank of Finland to attend IMF Annual Meetings

Governor of the Bank of Finland Olli Rehn will attend the Joint Annual Meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group (WBG) in Washington DC on 17 October 2025. Governor Rehn represents Finland on the IMF Board of Governors.

The IMF’s International Monetary and Financial Committee and the joint IMF-WBG Development Committee will also convene in connection with the Annual Meeting.

The Bank of Finland will also be represented at IMF meetings during the week by Member of the Board of the Bank of Finland Tuomas Välimäki, Adviser to the Board Kimmo Virolainen, Head of Division Satu Kivinen, Senior Economist Anni Norring and Head of Communications Iina Lario.
