Dr. Bastert joined the Gurobi team in February and brings over 20 years of experience in B2B software, SaaS, and AI technologies. Prior to joining Gurobi, he served as Vice President of Product Management at FICO, where he led product management for analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and optimization. He also served as a member of the Research & Development team at Dash Optimization, where he contributed to the development of advanced mixed-integer programming algorithms.
