Scanfil to Deliver TOMRA’s S2 Rugged Plus Reverse Vending Machines for Polish Market
“We are excited about the TOMRA deliveries in Poland. Our partnership with TOMRA goes back to 2005, and since 2010 we have been collaborating on the production of their reverse vending solutions in Poland. The market outlook in Europe is very positive, as the EU aims to increase recycling rates for beverage containers. TOMRA is a leading global reverse vending provider, and EU’s increased targets create significant growth potential in Europe,” says Lars Skanke, Director of Energy & Cleantech Sales at Scanfil.
The TOMRA S2 Rugged Plus reverse vending machines will be manufactured at Scanfil’s Myslowice site in Poland, and Pärnu site in Estonia. Both facilities specialize in sheet metal manufacturing and complex system integration. Scanfil provides TOMRA with a comprehensive solution, covering everything from sourcing to manufacturing and delivering to the installation site.

Scanfil was registered with the Finnish Trade Register on 4 June 1976 when Jorma J. Takanen started operations in his brother's garage in Sievi, Finland.
