Communardo Group expressed strong interest in acquiring Ambientia’s Atlassian business as part of its expansion from the DACH region into the Nordic countries. The negotiations progressed efficiently and in a spirit of mutual understanding, as the transaction offers clear strategic benefits for both parties. Communardo was already a well-known and highly regarded player for Ambientia in the European Atlassian market, which gives Ambientia confidence that Atlassian customers and the team will find a strong new home with Communardo.

As part of the transaction, the entire Ambientia Atlassian team will transfer to Communardo. This ensures that customer service continues at the same high level of quality and with the same familiar experts as before. A dedicated country organization will be established in Finland, and the team’s day-to-day collaboration will continue in a familiar setup.

Not all ties to the divested business will be severed as part of the transaction. As part of the business transaction, Ambientia will make an investment in Communardo’s parent company, thereby becoming a shareholder and supporting the Communardo Group’s growth and expansion across Europe.

For Ambientia, the transaction enables an even clearer and stronger focus on the company’s other business areas and on advancing the group’s growth strategy. The transaction supports the strategic path Ambientia has been pursuing since 2025. An example of this is the acquisition of Asensiot Oy, which strengthened Ambientia’s expertise and offering in data-driven management within the industrial sector and brought a genuinely international growth dimension to the company.

Going forward, Ambientia Group will focus even more strongly on its core service areas, such as digital customer experience solutions – particularly B2B e-commerce and customer portals – as well as data-driven management and business process automation solutions.

“My first year as CEO of Ambientia has been very eventful. We made significant progress toward our most important objectives. I am very pleased that, despite market headwinds, we were able to steer Ambientia’s operations back onto a growth path. We also successfully executed our strategy through business transactions, most recently the sale of our Atlassian business to Communardo. Another important milestone for the future was acquiring a majority ownership in Asensiot Oy last summer. Overall, I am very satisfied with the position from which we are entering 2026.”
