The Most Expensive Draft Beer in Finland: Blessed (2025) at Olutravintola Konttori, Feb 5, 2026

The Tampere-based beer restaurant Olutravintola Konttori is once again making waves by serving one of the world’s rarest and highest-rated brews — Anchorage Brewing Company’s Blessed (2025) — at nearly cost price. The goal is to make this world-class rarity accessible to as many beer lovers as possible.

Rare and highly regarded beers from Alaska’s Anchorage Brewing Company. On the stand upright: A Deal With the Devil – Penta Oaked, Batch 1–3 (2025). On the table horizontally: Blessed Imperial Stout (2023) — the same world-class beer that will be on tap at Konttori on February 5 as the Blessed (September 2025) edition.

Each year, the Alaskan brewery releases a slightly different and extremely limited batch of Blessed. The 2025 vintage has been rated as the best beer in the world this year.
“Right now, Blessed (2025) holds an Untappd rating of 4.8/5 (590 reviews as of Jan 19, 2026), making it the highest-rated beer of all time. It’s also the most expensive keg beer ever imported to Finland,” reveals Antti Hannula, manager and co-owner of Konttori.

At Konttori, Blessed (2025) will be sold for €11 per deciliter. The aim is to promote beer culture and bring top-tier experiences within reach, not to maximize profit. When Blessed (2024) was on tap last year, it sold out within 24 hours.
“We want to bring these rare flavor experiences not only to beer aficionados but also to casual visitors who might not otherwise try such products. Campaigns like this are one of the best ways to spread beer awareness more widely,” Hannula adds.

Even by European standards, Blessed (2025) is an extreme rarity — this year, it will be available on tap at only two beer restaurants in Finland.

Stronger and bolder than ever

The 2025 vintage has been matured longer and is significantly stronger than its predecessor. This imperial stout, infused with coconut and vanilla, was aged for 33 months in bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill and Russell’s Reserve.

“This year’s release boasts an astonishing 21% ABV — up from last year’s 16%. The barrels have been exceptionally generous,” Hannula notes.

A select few will get to experience Anchorage Brewing at its best in Konttori’s exclusive tasting event, which sold out well in advance. Alongside Blessed, the lineup includes three variants of the legendary A Deal With the Devil Penta Oaked barleywine, each around 25% ABV and matured for over 40 months across five different whiskey casks.

“These are the most expensive bottled beers we’ve ever purchased. A single 0.375L bottle would retail for around €200, but every one we managed to get is reserved for this tasting,” Hannula explains.

A “Super Week” for Beer Culture in Tampere

The beer excitement in Tampere doesn’t end there. The following day, February 6, Konttori will host a tap takeover by the Canadian Badlands Brewing Company, showcasing five of their world-class beers.

“Badlands is best known for its top-tier IPAs, and their reputation is absolutely well deserved,” says Hannula enthusiastically.

He also encourages craft beer fans to visit Vilja Winterfest, taking place February 6–7, 2026, at Bistro Vilja.

Award-Winning Local Favorite

Konttori’s long-term commitment to advancing beer culture has gained both national and local recognition. Among its many honors is the Beer Restaurant of the Year 2017 award from the Helsinki Beer Festival jury.

Most recently, Konttori earned the trust of its patrons once again: on January 21, 2026, it was voted Best Beer Restaurant in Tampere by readers of the local newspaper Tamperelainen — for the third year in a row.
