Proventia and Morrow Sign Long-term Master Supply Agreement for LFP Battery Cells
28.1.2026 11:00:00 EET | Proventia Group Oyj | Press release
Proventia Oy (“Proventia”) and Morrow Batteries ASA (“Morrow”) have signed a Master Supply Agreement for long-term delivery of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells for Proventia’s battery modules and packs used in off-highway machinery and industrial applications. The agreement covers prismatic LFP cells and allows the addition of future cell chemistries as they become commercially available.

Under the agreement, Morrow will supply LFP cells for Proventia’s standard and customer-tailored battery packs, designed for demanding operating conditions. Deliveries are already underway, and the contract runs through 2031. The companies will also continue joint simulation and pack-level optimisation to shorten development time, cut prototyping and testing costs, and further improve battery performance and reliability.
"Being able to offer our customers battery technology manufactured in Europe, including the cells, is extremely important to us and increasingly required by our customers. This agreement supports our electric powertrain and battery development programs with quality, flexibility, and speed", says Jari Lotvonen, CEO, Proventia.
"This collaboration reflects Morrow’s focus on industrial agreements that strengthen Europe’s battery value chain. With this long-term master supply agreement, we can accelerate technology validation, secure reliable offtake and deliver advanced cell solutions into demanding applications, says Jon Fold von Bulow", says Jon Fold von Bulow, acting CEO of Morrow.
Proventia will begin its first customer deliveries using Morrow’s cells in spring 2026.
In 2026, Morrow will ramp up production capacity and further improve its processes, while keeping a strong focus on reliable deliveries and long-term customer partnerships.
