Adven’s Sustainability Review 2025 shows 88% renewable and recycled fuel share - and a sharper push to help customers cut emissions
14.4.2026 14:54:54 EEST | Adven Group Oy | Press release
New review highlights lower Scope 1 emissions, stronger sustainability reporting, and concrete customer and infrastructure projects accelerating the energy transition across all markets.

Adven has published its Sustainability Review 2025, showing continued progress in the company’s transition towards more renewable and recycled energy, stronger sustainability reporting, and practical solutions that help customers reduce emissions while improving competitiveness.
The review shows Adven’s share of renewable and recycled fuels rose to 88% in 2025, while the company’s Scope 1 emissions decreased by 4.9%. At the same time, Adven continued to invest in projects that combine decarbonisation, resource efficiency and security of supply across its operating countries.
“Energy transition only matters if it happens in practice. Our 2025 review shows how sustainability is moving from targets and reporting into real assets, real customer solutions and real emissions reductions”, says Adven´s Group CEO Jonas Sjölander.
The 2025 review also marks a further step in Adven’s reporting maturity. The company reports in line with the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME) and has completed its first double materiality assessment, helping it define the sustainability topics most material to its business and stakeholders. These include greenhouse gas emissions, increased use of renewable fuels in production, customer carbon footprint reduction and security of supply.
Adven says its long-term ambition remains unchanged: to reach 95% renewable and recycled energy by 2030, 100% by 2040, and to halve the carbon intensity of sold energy by 2030 compared with 2019.
The report highlights several concrete examples of how that transition is being delivered. Across all new partnerships established in 2025, Adven estimates expected annual customer CO₂ emission reductions of 29,687 tonnes.
Beyond environmental progress, the review points to positive movement in people and safety performance. Adven’s contributor rate rose to 75.3%, exceeding its target, while its DEI KPI reached 4.31, above target. Safety walks and talks, as well as safety observations and proposals, also exceeded target levels during the year. Adven’s group turnover increased slightly from EUR 409 million to EUR 424 million during the reporting period.
For Adven, the message of the 2025 review is clear: the transition is not one project or one metric at a time, but a broader shift in how energy infrastructure is built, operated and improved together with customers.
“Our role is to make the transition tangible. That means building solutions that are not only more sustainable, but also reliable, competitive and scalable”, Sjölander says.
