Presidential couple to Kultaranta for the summer

On Friday 5 June 2026, President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will move with his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb to the Presidential Summer Residence Kultaranta. During the summer, the President will be working mainly at Kultaranta.

This summer, the park at Kultaranta will host a sculpture exhibition entitled Growth, organised in collaboration with the Alfred Kordelin Foundation and the WAM Museum of Contemporary Art. The exhibition explores themes of personal growth, the vitality of nature, and the coexistence between humans and nature. The exhibition will open on Friday 5 June, and will be open to the public until 30 August. It showcases works by five sculptors, whose collective work creates a dialogue between nature and people.

The City of Naantali will host a welcome reception for the presidential couple at the President’s jetty in the Naantali marina on Friday 5 June at 18.00.

The most significant event of the early summer season will be the Kultaranta Talks hosted by President Stubb on 11–12 June. The theme of this year’s Kultaranta Talks is A World in Transition – Global, Regional and Local Perspectives.

The Naantali Music Festival will organise a park concert at Kultaranta on Saturday 13 June. The concert, Ei Kultarantaa rakkaampaa, features classical favourites, jazz and film music, performed by the Naantali Music Festival’s string players and singer Aili Ikonen.

During the summer, visitors can enjoy free access to the Kultaranta park and sculpture exhibition every Friday from 18.00 to 20.00 until the end of September. Located on the island of Luonnonmaa in Naantali, Kultaranta has served as the summer residence of the President of the Republic of Finland since 1920. The main building, a granite castle completed in 1916, was commissioned by businessman and entrepreneur Alfred Kordelin and designed by architect Lars Sonck. The Kultaranta estate includes an extensive park and a kitchen garden where flowers and vegetables are grown. The renovation of the main building and park at Kultaranta was completed in October 2024.
