Temet, the world's leading pioneer in civil protection and protective infrastructure solutions, announces the appointment of Kari Hämäläinen as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Kari Hämäläinen joins with a strong track record of building growth in global technology and industrial companies — scaling operations across markets, leading strategic entries into new regions, and driving long-term revenue expansion through organic growth and acquisitions.
His appointment directly supports Temet's strategic growth objectives as demand for integrated civil, defence and industrial protective infrastructure accelerates globally.
Juha Simola will continue in a new capacity until Q4 2026, providing support to the CEO in strategic market expansion and associated priorities.
