Cervi is strengthening its position as a Finnish specialist in indoor climate and building services technology with a significant investment in its insulation business. The Group is establishing technical insulation as a new strategic business area with Hewaco Oy, Eristyspalvelu Kaasalainen Oy and PPE Service Oy joining the Cervi Group. Following the acquisitions, the combined revenue of Cervi’s insulation business will increase to nearly EUR 15 million, further strengthening the Group’s position as a major nationwide player in the sector.

Cervi already has strong expertise in the insulation sector through its Group companies Jusander Oy and Varsinais-Suomen Eristyspalvelu Oy. With the new acquisitions, the Group is building a nationwide network alongside these companies, bringing together local specialist expertise to support shared growth, cooperation and development.

Technical insulation is playing an increasingly important role in energy efficiency, indoor climate management and the performance of building services systems. At the same time, its significance is growing as part of the full lifecycle management of properties.

Insulation is no longer simply the final stage of building services work, but an essential part of effective indoor climate technology. It has a direct impact on energy efficiency, system performance and indoor conditions in buildings. This is why we want to make insulation one of Cervi’s strategic business areas,” says Cervi CEO Jarno Hacklin.

According to Hacklin, Cervi has already built a nationwide position in ventilation, refrigeration, cooling and energy solutions. The same growth model is now being applied to the insulation sector.

“We are not building the insulation business from scratch. We already have strong expertise through Jusander and Varsinais-Suomen Eristyspalvelu. We are now taking the next step by bringing these companies together to create a nationwide insulation business with a significant market position. Together, we can drive growth and create synergies through areas such as resources, procurement and centralised support services.”

The Finnish insulation sector remains strongly local and relatively fragmented. Cervi’s objective is to build a nationwide network where local entrepreneurship, customer insight and specialist expertise are combined with the Group’s resources, investment capacity and nationwide cooperation.

Customers are no longer purchasing individual technical systems; they are investing in reliable, energy-efficient indoor conditions. Ventilation, cooling, energy solutions and technical insulation work together to support building performance, energy efficiency and user experience. We want to be a partner that understands the bigger picture on a nationwide scale,” Hacklin says.

Following the acquisitions, Cervi will be able to offer customers broader service packages in which ventilation, refrigeration, energy solutions and technical insulation form a unified indoor climate and building services technology offering.

Cervi Oy and its subsidiaries form the nationwide Cervi Group, which provides services in indoor climate and building services technology with a local approach from Southern Finland to Northern Ostrobothnia.
