Scanfil Supports TOMRA’s Roll-out in Poland Following Deposit Return System Launch

Scanfil has played an important role in supporting TOMRA’s production ramp-up and machine roll-out for Poland’s Deposit Return System (DRS). 

TOMRA’s S2 Rugged Plus reverse vending machine was designed and developed to meet the requirements of major Polish retailers. Scanfil contributed to the roll-out through close collaboration on key elements of the solution and by leveraging its supply chain and manufacturing capabilities to support a rapid production ramp-up while maintaining consistent quality. Local manufacturing in Poland has also been an important part of the delivery set-up. Following a successful first half of the year supporting the roll-out in Poland, Scanfil looks forward to continuing the collaboration through the second half of 2026.
