Cervi enters Northern Finland as KylmäCenter joins its nationwide refrigeration network

KylmäCenter is a well-known specialist in refrigeration equipment, heat pumps, and cooling solutions. Its customers include companies, property owners, and public sector organizations in the Oulu region.

The acquisition marks a significant regional expansion for Cervi, with Oulu now becoming the Group’s northernmost location.

“We are systematically building a nationwide indoor conditions technology network where local expertise and shared ways of working support each other. Oulu is an important new regional opening for us. KylmäCenter’s experienced personnel and strong local position make it an excellent fit for Cervi,” says Jarno Hacklin, CEO of Cervi.

The addition of KylmäCenter to Cervi will strengthen services especially in Northern Finland. Customers will continue to receive the same familiar local service, now supported by Cervi’s broader expertise and nationwide network.

“The role of refrigeration technology continues to grow in terms of energy efficiency, cooling, and well-functioning indoor conditions. KylmäCenter brings strong expertise, experienced personnel, and long-standing customer relationships to the Group. We want to build a strong local operation in Oulu over the long term as part of our nationwide network,” Hacklin says.

Kimmo Pisilä of KylmäCenter sees the cooperation as a natural next step in the company’s development.

“Joining Cervi is a natural next step for us. For our customers, the most important thing is that their familiar points of contact and local service will remain unchanged. At the same time, we will have the support of broader services and a nationwide network,” says Kimmo Pisilä.

As a result of the business acquisition, KylmäCenter’s business and personnel will become part of the Cervi Group. Operations will continue in Oulu with the familiar team as part of a nationwide refrigeration and indoor conditions technology network.
