Charted Launches ERP-Native E-invoicing Across EMEA
1.9.2026 15:30:00 EEST | Business Wire | Press release
Charted, a leading accounts payable automation software and ERP services provider, today announced the expansion of Charted E-invoicing to support multiple countries spanning Europe, including Germany, France, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark and Finland. Further expansion to Italy, Romania, and Poland, will take place by the end of the quarter. These countries follow the official launch of Charted E-invoicing in Belgium, in May 2026. This expansion is designed to cement Charted support for users across EMEA, ensuring companies based in the region transacting on the PEPPOL network can remain compliant while keeping their accounts payable processes embedded inside their ERP.
Charted E-invoicing works as a capability within Charted Invoice AI, to receive electronic invoices directly into the AP inbox, keeping the user experience identical no matter what type of invoice is being reviewed. This also consolidates invoice sources, both PDF and electronic, into one unified inbox. The e-invoicing solution can be fully onboarded for customers in one business day.
“Our commitment to growth in the European region is underpinned by our work towards staying ahead of growing e-invoicing mandates,” said Seth Duda, VP of Technology at Charted. “These requirements are a central concern for accounts payable functions, and Charted is ensuring that financial teams can rely on us for all their AP needs, designed to work the way they do, directly inside their ERP. The complexities of multi-entity and multi-currency financial operations need software solutions that are designed with a global framework in mind.”
Charted only recently expanded to Europe in January 2026, with headquarters established in London.
“We’ve seen an exciting level of growth within the European market in a short period of time,” said Dominic Reid, Senior Director, Sales & Alliances, EMEA at Charted. “We’re meeting the needs of our global customers with an e-invoicing solution designed to work across various country regulations in Europe, as well as with our entire suite of AP automation solutions.”
E-invoicing, part of Charted Invoice AI, offers the following capabilities:
- Receiving electronic invoices via either the four-corner PEPPOL network or country-specific networks.
- A single unified workflow for invoice ingestion, maintained through one inbox, ensuring all automation and AI-enabled capabilities remain the same no matter the invoice source.
- An embedded solution, ensuring all AP data remains inside the ERP, ensuring audit compliance and a faster financial close.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Charted registered as a Plateforme Agréée to manage e-invoices in France?
Beginning September 1, 2026, all businesses operating in France must be able to receive e-invoices, and businesses of a certain size must send e-invoices and submit data through the list of Plateformes Agréées. Businesses must use officially accredited platforms in order to send this information and comply by law. While Charted does not show up on the official list of approved platforms registered with the Plateforme Agréée, our e-invoicing solution is built on a platform that is accredited via the Plateforme Agréée. Please contact Charted for further information regarding concerns about compliance.
Why is e-invoicing being launched in countries that do not have official e-invoice mandates where the process is required?
Every European nation has their own e-invoicing requirements, including some countries which do not require them. In order to support the financial operations of global organizations with complex multi-subsidiary and multi-currency requirements, Charted is ensuring e-invoicing support is being offered throughout the region, to better support the needs of our customers to streamline their financial operations.
How long has Charted operated in Europe?
While Charted has had European-based customers for many years, Charted officially expanded to Europe in January 2026 and has an office in the UK with staff dedicated to serving the region. As part of engaging the European market, Charted has been committed to staying compliant with EU regulations, a cornerstone of which is growing e-invoicing mandates across various countries.
