Cyclic Materials announced today the opening of its first commercial-scale rare earth magnet recycling facility in Mesa, Arizona, marking a major milestone in building domestic supply of rare earths and critical minerals. With an annual processing capacity of up to 25,000 metric tons of magnet-bearing end-of-life products, the facility produces Cyclic’s rare earth magnet material, Mag-Xtract™, and critical minerals such as copper and aluminum, and steel.

Leaders gather to mark the opening of Cyclic Materials’ new facility in Mesa, Arizona. The Mesa facility is the world’s first commercial-scale deployment of Cyclic Materials’ proprietary MagCycle® technology, delivering automated mechanical separation of magnets from end-of-life products, and serving as the front end of Cyclic Materials’ integrated rare earth recovery platform.

Cyclic Materials has built a strong commercial supply network across the U.S., securing significant volumes of magnet-bearing feedstock through long-term commercial partnerships. More than 7,000 metric tons have already been delivered to the Mesa facility, with substantially greater volumes secured across its growing supply pipeline. Commercial operation is now underway, with the first commercial shipments to U.S. customers expected later this month.

Global demand for rare earth elements is projected to triple by 2035, driven by AI, automotive, robotics, electronics, energy, and defense applications. In addition, the rare earth supply chain remains highly geographically concentrated, leaving it vulnerable to geopolitical risks. Building infrastructure to recover rare earths from end-of-life products is one of the fastest routes to securing domestic supply. Cyclic Materials' new facility was completed just 17 months after first being announced, demonstrating a repeatable deployment model to establish domestic capacity on an expeditious timeline.

In a recent Presidential Determination, the Trump Administration recognized end-of-life rare earth permanent magnets as containing recoverable critical materials essential to national defense, explicitly addressing the need for domestic recovery and processing capacity. Cyclic’s Mesa facility directly addresses this U.S. priority by offering companies a domestic destination for magnet-bearing end-of-life products that might otherwise be exported as waste.

“Rare-earth materials are essential inputs across some of the industries that matter most to America’s economic and national security, and President Trump has made strengthening critical-mineral supply chains a priority,” said William Kimmitt, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade at the U.S. Department of Commerce, who attended the grand opening of the Mesa facility. “Cyclic Materials’ opening is a great example of government working effectively with industry for the American people.”

“This facility delivers new capacity for the U.S. to keep resource-rich products here and build domestic rare earth supply,” said Ahmad Ghahreman, CEO and Founder of Cyclic Materials. “Cyclic is quickly closing gaps in the domestic supply chain as we expedite our rare earth and critical mineral infrastructure development in the U.S. This means shaving months, if not years, off the delivery of the critical materials required to drive AI, energy, and defense sectors forward.”

“Arizona is a national leader in critical minerals and innovative technologies powering the reshoring of American industries,” said ArizonaGovernor Katie Hobbs. “This facility will play a vital role in advancing Arizona’s clean energy economy and strengthening U.S. supply chain resiliency.”

The Mesa facility is an important milestone in Cyclic Materials’ buildout of nationwide critical material recovery infrastructure. A new South Carolina rare earth recycling campus is in development, which will combine the company’s magnet recovery and rare earth refining platforms on a single site.

About Cyclic Materials

Cyclic Materials is building a resilient supply chain for rare earth elements and other critical materials through the recycling of magnet-containing end-of-life products. The company recovers and refines high-purity recycled rare earth oxides that are returned to the manufacturing supply chain for new permanent magnets that are essential to automotive, AI, robotics, defense, electronics, energy, medical, industrial and other advanced technologies. With the successful opening of its Arizona facility, and acceleration of construction for its South Carolina facility, the company is delivering rare earth and critical materials at commercial scale and plans for continued expansion to create a secure domestic, circular supply of rare earths. Elliptic Intelligence Used by the USSS to Take Action Against Xinbi, the $30 Billion Criminal Marketplace and Money Laundering Operation9.9.2026 19:36:00 EEST | Press release

Elliptic, the global leader in risk intelligence for on-chain finance, today confirmed that it provided the intelligence used by the United States Secret Service in action taken today against the Xinbi marketplace. The U.S. Secret Service froze wallets belonging to the marketplace and its merchants, containing $52.8 million in cryptoassets linked to Xinbi marketplace. Elliptic provided the data and intelligence that no other provider could. The data was extracted from Elliptic’s Data Fabric Solutions into the USSS' systems, giving investigators the one hundred thousand-foot view, connecting on-chain and off-chain data to paint a full picture of illicit activity rather than a snapshot in one screen of data. Data Fabric provides access to the same blockchain data and intelligence set behind Elliptic’s solutions, and that Elliptic’s own intelligence team used to expose both Huione and Xinbi before anyone else. Since beginning operations in 2022, Xinbi Guarantee and its merchants have proc
