Björk exhibition opens in Oulu in November – DJ set tickets on sale 1 October

Björk’s exhibition will be presented in the same exhibition space as Fotografiska Tallinn’s PLAY exhibition. It will be on display on the second floor of Kauppakortteli Pekuri from 13 November until the end of December. Tickets for the exhibition go on sale on 19 October, and both exhibitions can be visited with the same ticket.

Tickets for Björk’s DJ set go on sale via Lippu.fi on 1 October at 10am. A standard ticket costs €48 + booking fees (from €1.50 + 0.65% of the order www.lippu.fi). A TAR Festival combined ticket is also available, including a ticket to Björk’s DJ set and tickets to the TAR Festival from 13–15 November. The combined ticket costs €72 + booking fees (from €1.50 + 0.65% of the order www.lippu.fi). A maximum of two tickets per person can be purchased for both ticket types.

At Tarkastamo, Björk will perform a DJ set and invite the audience to share a listening experience with her. This is not a traditional concert, but a musical journey selected by Björk herself, spanning different genres, cultures and parts of the world. This year, Björk has performed as a DJ at events including the Venice Biennale and in Reykjavík in connection with her exhibition.

Björk will perform at Tarkastamo on Sunday 15 November at 5pm. Doors open at 4pm. The event is for audiences aged 18 and over. Further details of the programme will be announced closer to the event.

The TAR Festival will take place in Oulu from 11–15 November as part of the Lumo Art & Tech Festival. TAR brings international sound artists and experimental musicians to the city, including Stefanie Egedy, Mark Fell and Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko.
