DNA brings real-time interpretation to business voice services
30.9.2026 08:45:00 EEST | DNA Oyj | Press release
DNA is expanding its portfolio of AI-assisted communication and availability services with the new DNA AI Tulkki interpretation service. The service enables real-time interpretation between people speaking different languages directly during a phone call. DNA AI Tulkki interpretation service helps companies and public sector organizations provide smoother and more accessible customer service without the need for separate interpretation arrangements.

DNA AI Tulkki interpreter continues the series of AI-assisted communication and availability services previously introduced by DNA. The service can be integrated with the DNA Virtual vPBX service or the DNA Contact Center solution and is available immediately based on customer needs.
DNA AI Tulkki interpreter can be added to an ongoing call. In this setup, the participants are the customer, the customer service representative, and DNA AI Tulkki interpreter. The service listens to the conversation and interprets speech in real time in both directions. The customer and the service representative can each speak their own language.
“Customers of companies and public sector organizations expect fast and seamless service, even when there is no shared language. DNA AI Tulkki interpreter helps remove language barriers and improves service accessibility from the end customer’s perspective. With DNA AI Tulkki interpreter, organizations can provide multilingual customer service without requiring their personnel to speak all the necessary languages,” says Mari Eklund, Vice President of Communications and Customer Service Solutions at DNA.
The service enables organizations to handle multilingual customer interactions more efficiently while reducing reliance on separately arranged external interpretation services. Its purpose is to improve customer experience and accessibility and help organizations serve increasingly diverse customer groups.
“Artificial intelligence should be applied where it solves real-world problems. Real-time interpretation is a great example of how new technology can support smoother and more equal customer interactions,” says Eklund.
DNA continuously develops new AI-assisted capabilities for its communication and availability services. In addition to DNA AI Tulkki interpreter, the DNA Virtual vPBX service includes features that support caller identification, call summarization, voice announcement generation, and integration with back-end systems.

Kysely: Suomalaisilta selvä linjaus millainen on paras etätyömalli – DNA kulkee vastavirtaan viimeaikaisen kehityksen kanssa23.9.2026 08:30:00 EEST | Tiedote
Survey: Finns Clearly Favor a Specific Remote Work Model, DNA Is Going Against the Recent Trend23.9.2026 08:30:00 EEST | Press release
While many employers are tightening their return-to-office requirements, DNA has chosen to stick with the model it has followed for years. At DNA, there is no office attendance mandate, and the company does not track the number of days employees spend in the office. DNA has also researched the topic both internally and through broader external studies. According to the Digital Life survey commissioned by DNA, 41% of Finns who have the opportunity to work remotely spend most of their working time at their workplace. Around one in five report working equally from the office and remotely, while 23% say they work remotely most of the time. Among those who have the possibility to work remotely, 61% state that hybrid work would be the most suitable way for them to work.
At Least 18,000 Children Encounter Sexual Harassment Online Every Week – DNA and Protect Children Bring the Issue to Life at Helsinki's Kansalaistori Square10.9.2026 08:15:00 EEST | Press release
At least 18,000 children in Finland experience sexual harassment on social media every week, according to recent research findings. DNA and Protect Children (Suojellaan Lapsia ry) are bringing visibility to the issue with an installation at Helsinki's Kansalaistori Square starting on 10 September. The installation powerfully illustrates the scale of online harassment targeted at children. At the same time, the initiative aims to make taking screenshots a widely recognized digital safety skill for both children and adults, helping children seek support when they encounter harassment online.
DNA:n elokuun 2026 myydyimmät puhelimet ja älykellot1.9.2026 08:00:00 EEST | Tiedote
DNA:n elokuun kuluttajamyynnissä korostuivat Applen uusimmat iPhone 17 -sarjan puhelimet sekä koululaisten tarpeisiin hankitut edullisemmat Android-laitteet. Poikkeuksellisesti myydyimpien puhelinten listalla nähtiin laitteita vain kolmelta valmistajalta. Yritysasiakkaiden hankinnoissa suosituimpia olivat edelleen premium-luokan älypuhelimet ja kustannustehokkaat 5G-laitteet. Älykellojen puolella lasten kellopuhelimet jatkoivat vahvaa kasvuaan, ja ZTE K2 säilytti asemansa myydyimpänä laitteena jo viidettä kuukautta peräkkäin.
