2.10.2026 14:48:10 EEST | Adven Group Oy | Press release
Adven has achieved the highest score globally in the 2026 GRESB Infrastructure Assessment, ranking first among 569 participating companies and earning a perfect score of 100 out of 100. Adven also ranked first in its peer group, Network Utilities: District Cooling/Heating Companies, and was awarded the highest five-star GRESB rating. The recognition reflects the company's systematic work to strengthen sustainability governance, processes and transparency.
Over the past two years, Adven has worked systematically to further strengthen its environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices. The latest assessment reflects improvements in sustainability governance, risk management processes and the quality and transparency of supporting documentation.
“Ranking first globally among all participating infrastructure companies, while achieving a perfect score of 100 out of 100, is a fantastic result and recognition of the work that has been carried out across Adven over time,” says Jimi Bäck, Sustainability Manager for Adven Group. "We have focused on creating clear structures, strengthening our ESG processes and ensuring that our sustainability work is both measurable and transparent.”
The GRESB Infrastructure Assessment covers a broad range of infrastructure sectors, including data infrastructure, energy and water resources, environmental services, network utilities, power generation, renewable power, social infrastructure and transport.
With the foundations now firmly in place, the focus shifts increasingly from developing reporting structures to driving sustainability performance in practice. Adven will continue to use the GRESB framework to identify opportunities for improvement while translating its sustainability ambitions into concrete actions across the business.
The five-star rating and perfect score confirm Adven's position among the leading organizations in sustainability and reflect the company's ongoing commitment to supporting the energy transition and creating long-term value through solutions that improve energy and resource efficiency and reduce emissions.
