New technology alliance secures drinking water: LIQUM’s AI analytics and RumbleTools’ robotics form a unique solution

Uninterrupted monitoring throughout the entire water chain

The core of the end-to-end service is the seamless integration of high-quality data and visual confirmation. LIQUM is responsible for precise, real-time monitoring of water quality and AI-based analysis across the entire distribution network. 

When the system detects an anomaly in water quality, an autonomous robocopter from RumbleTools is immediately dispatched to the site—for example, a water tower, a pumping station, or a raw water source. The visual material and data collected by the autonomous devices are brought directly into the same view as the water quality data. Thanks to this, visible changes and the causes of disturbances can be verified immediately, allowing personnel to accurately target corrective measures and minimize potential health risks.

Immediate response to environmental threats and industrial emissions

In addition to the water supply network, the service is designed to safeguard raw water sources in situations where a process disturbance or industrial emission threatens a water body.

In the event of a suspected emission, autonomous devices rapidly survey the area. The robocopters can utilize wireless sensors to monitor water quality on-site, record video footage of the situation, and collect water samples for later accredited laboratory analysis. Artificial intelligence immediately combines these observations so that the extent and location of the damage can be assessed in real time and containment measures can be initiated without delay.

The first reference project puts the concept into practice

The first reference project of the new collaboration is about to get underway and will serve as a reference for the practical benefits of comprehensive monitoring.
