ANFRA PUBLISHES DATA CENTER CIVIL WORKS PRICING AND ISSUES STRICT TIME GUARANTEES
20.10.2026 07:40:00 EEST | Anfra Oy | Press release
Nordic infrastructure contractor Anfra is the first in the industry to publicly disclose unit prices for data center earthworks and infrastructure. Alongside the open estimation tool, the company introduces aggressive time guarantees: a budget estimate in five working days and site mobilization in two weeks. The goal is to remove bottlenecks for billion-euro investments in Finland and Sweden.

The Nordic countries are currently competing fiercely for massive data center and artificial intelligence investments from global technology companies. In these hundred-million-euro projects, time is often the most critical factor. Heavy bidding processes and uncertainty regarding the actual costs of earthworks delay investment decisions by months.
Nordic infrastructure specialist Anfra is addressing the problem by releasing an Excel-based calculation tool for industry professionals. It allows project developers and builders to evaluate the unit prices of earthworks, foundation structures, and infrastructure directly, bypassing weeks of tendering. Concurrently, the company commits to exceptionally fast project initiation.
"International clients require accurate information right at the beginning of the project on what building infrastructure in the Nordics actually costs. Time dictates everything in these projects: we promise our clients a budget price in five working days. At our fastest, we have calculated a budget for an infrastructure contract worth over a million euros by the next working day after the initial contact," says Anfra’s CEO, Tomi Puoskari.
In addition to the rapid budget calculation, the company guarantees a delay-free transition from the design desk to the excavation site.
"We promise to mobilize our equipment and workforce to the site within two weeks of signing the contract. At our fastest, we have started on-site work in just one week. However, speed does not mean cutting corners: all preparatory work, necessary permits, and occupational safety measures are 100 percent secured before a single machine is started," Puoskari emphasizes.
Experience backs up the bold promises
Data centers represent critical infrastructure for society, meaning these projects always involve strict security classifications and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Confidentiality dictates daily operations on site, and client names or specific site details cannot be publicly disclosed.
In 2026 alone, Anfra has worked on eight different data center construction sites in Finland and Sweden. The company’s capabilities are backed by years of experience in demanding industrial and energy infrastructure contracts.
"Promises like these aren't made by rookies. This is not our first time on these sites; we know exactly what delivering critical infrastructure requires. Our experience with massive industrial projects provides the backbone that allows us to speak openly about pricing and guarantee site mobilization in a matter of weeks," Puoskari states.
The efficiency of this operating model is based on Anfra keeping both infrastructure design and contracting under the same roof.
"When design, cost estimation, and execution are handled internally without middlemen, the budgets hold true on site, and operations are launched in a fraction of the standard time. With this model, we are removing unnecessary bottlenecks from the path of billion-euro investments heading to the Nordics," Puoskari concludes.
