DNA appoints Jukka Leinonen as new CEO

“The aim of the Board of Directors was to find a CEO who has a strong ability to map out new opportunities for DNA in the midst of the upheaval in the telecommunications industry. Jukka Leinonen stood out among several good candidates by meeting this need particularly well. Leinonen combines a clear vision of the development of DNA’s business with a long and varied experience in the telecommunications industry. He has also successfully managed his previous DNA duties,” says Jarmo Leino, Chairman of the Board of DNA.

Jukka Leinonen will begin his work as CEO of DNA immediately. Leinonen has worked at DNA since 2010, when he joined the company as Vice President, Corporate Business. Prior to his post at DNA, Leinonen has worked in the telecommunications sector in many corporate business sales, marketing and product management positions since 1995.

Riitta Tiuraniemi served as CEO of DNA until 30 August 2013.
