That’s why we are extending the hours of our telephone service. We are now expanding the hours of our telephone service on Mondays, and in the future our aim is to extend our telephone service hours on other weekdays as well”, says Heidi Rantatulkkila, Head of Unit for Individual Customers at the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.

Changes to walk-in service hours from 1 June 2023

Summer brings changes to walk-in service hours as well. Most matters do not require a visit to a Digital and Population Data Services Agency service location and can be handled electronically or by telephone instead.

Only marriage ceremonies, the registration of foreigners’ personal data, certain notary public services and official-assisted registration of the right to create a mandate in Suomi.fi e-Authorizations require visiting our customer service in person.

Check out our services requiring a visit: https://dvv.fi/en/services-requiring-a-visit

We mainly offer the services that require a visit by appointment, so please book one in advance.
