“It’s a great pleasure to warmly welcome the residents of Nurmijärvi to enjoy our 5G services! For now, the network serves the largest population centers of the municapility, Kirkonkylä and Klaukkala, also partly Rajamäki, but will expand to other areas in the future,” says Jarkko Laari, Director, Radio Networks, DNA.

The base station network in Nurmijärvi offer coverage in at least Kalkeri, Kuonomäki, Lepsämä, Lintumetsä, Einola, Parkkimäki, Puontila, Klaukkala, Harjula, Simola, Syrjälä, Vanhamylly, Isokallio, Alhonniittu, Toreeni and Väinölä.

In addition to these 32 cities and towns, DNA’s 5G network reaches up to 45 other municipalities with a more local coverage. This means that it is possible to connect to the 5G network in certain areas of up to 77 municipalities. DNA announces new 5G locations after the network comprehensively serves the region’s most densely populated areas. During the rest of this year, the 5G network is scheduled to be launched yet in Kangasala.

In 2021, DNA’s 5G network will be launched in at least Hollola, Kirkkonummi, Kokkola, Kotka, Kouvola, Lohja, Mikkeli, Orimattila, Porvoo, Raasepori, Riihimäki, Salo and Vihti. At least 18,000 children in Finland experience sexual harassment on social media every week, according to recent research findings. DNA and Protect Children (Suojellaan Lapsia ry) are bringing visibility to the issue with an installation at Helsinki's Kansalaistori Square starting on 10 September. DNA:n elokuun 2026 myydyimmät puhelimet ja älykellot1.9.2026 08:00:00 EEST | Tiedote

DNA:n elokuun kuluttajamyynnissä korostuivat Applen uusimmat iPhone 17 -sarjan puhelimet sekä koululaisten tarpeisiin hankitut edullisemmat Android-laitteet. Poikkeuksellisesti myydyimpien puhelinten listalla nähtiin laitteita vain kolmelta valmistajalta. Yritysasiakkaiden hankinnoissa suosituimpia olivat edelleen premium-luokan älypuhelimet ja kustannustehokkaat 5G-laitteet. Älykellojen puolella lasten kellopuhelimet jatkoivat vahvaa kasvuaan, ja ZTE K2 säilytti asemansa myydyimpänä laitteena jo viidettä kuukautta peräkkäin.
