DNA starts the pre-sales of Samsung Galaxy A51 5G and Sony Xperia 1 II 5G on Monday, 1 June 2020. Samsung Galaxy A51 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED display, four rear cameras and a host of advanced shooting features. The phone has 128 GB of internal storage and supports microSD memory cards up to one terabyte. In addition, the phone has a long-lasting 4,500 mAh battery that supports fast charging. DNA sells the phone for EUR 479.

The trademark of Sony Xperia 1 II 5G is the 21:9 aspect ratio display. The phone’s 6.5-inch long, yet narrow 4K display makes it possible to run multiple apps at once and consume content in the aspect ratio it was meant for. The phone also comes with an Alpha technology triple lens camera with ZEISS optics, a Snapdragon 865 processor and an X55 5G modem, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Sony Xperia 1 II 5G is priced at EUR 1,199 at DNA.

DNA will also start selling the most affordable 5G phone on the market so far, Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G, on 9 June 2020. The phone’s Snapdragon 765G processor and X52 5G modem ensure fast 5G connections and plenty of power. In addition, the phone has a 6.57-inch AMOLED HDR10+ TrueColor flagship display, 20W fast charge and 4,160 mAh battery with long-lasting performance even for demanding use.DNA became Finland’s first official Xiaomi reseller and operator distributor in 2018.

“We expect the sales of 5G phones to grow during the summer season, which is typically a busy time. Customers are also buying more 5G devices as phones become available in more affordable price ranges. For example, Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G, which will be launched soon, has very competitive 5G features for the relatively low price of EUR 399,” says CEO Sami Aavikko from DNA Store.

DNA starts the regular sales of Samsung Galaxy A51 5G on 15 June 2020. Sony Xperia 1 II 5G will be available on 22 June 2020. Other 5G phones sold by DNA include Motorola Edge 5G (EUR 599), Motorola Edge+ 5G (EUR 1,099), the Xiaomi Mi 10 series 5G phones Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro (EUR 999) and Xiaomi Mi 10 (EUR 899) as well as the OnePlus 8 5G series phones starting at EUR 699 at DNA. DNA:n käyttämä 5G-verkko yltää nyt Etelä-Karjalassa liki joka kolkkaan11.4.2024 09:55:00 EEST | Tiedote

DNA:n käyttämän 5G-verkon rakennustyöt Etelä-Karjalassa ovat saavuttaneet pisteen, jossa 5G-verkon peitto yltää maakunnassa liki kaikkialle ja asukkaiden tavoittavuus lähestyy 100 prosentin tasoa heidän asuinpaikkojensa perusteella. Koko maan tasolla kuuluvuudessa on kuitenkin yhä alueellista vaihtelua, minkä vuoksi verkkoa parannetaan jatkuvasti. Tavoite on erityisesti maantieteellisen peiton vahvistaminen ja kasvattaminen. Laskennallisesti 5G-verkko tavoittaa noin 96 prosenttia suomalaisista koko maassa, yhteensä yli 250 paikkakunnalla. 5G-rakentamisen myötä paranevat myös 4G-yhteydet.

DNA’s 5G network now reaches almost every corner of South Karelia11.4.2024 09:55:00 EEST | Press release

DNA’s 5G network in South Karelia now reaches nearly all parts of the region, and coverage of the population is approaching 100% based on residents’ location. At the national level, however, there are still regional variations in coverage, which is why the network is constantly being improved. In particular, DNA’s goal is to reinforce and increase geographic coverage. The 5G network has a theoretical coverage of around 96% of Finland’s population in more than 250 localities. The construction of 5G infrastructure also improves 4G connections.
